Hi, I’m Helena. I work with teenagers, women, men of diverse ages and genders experiencing life challenges. I work with acute stress, identity challenges, relational trauma, C-PTSD, sexual assault, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and challenges with self-esteem. I’m trained in Narrative therapy, person-centred therapy, trauma-informed neurobiological approaches, and hypnotherapy.

Your story matters to me. You are not just in a mind and body, you are a person in a story, and the way you have lived yours is unique, valuable, and worth knowing. I would love to help hold a space where gentleness and deep listening can wrap around what you’ve been through. I combine narrative therapy, neuroscience, and trauma-informed studies to create a conversation where your truth and your next steps of healing are best supported. I aim to non-pathologize your experience and help alleviate suffering leftover by the medical model which says there is something wrong with you.

I have been in practice since 2022, and continue to learn about the art of clinical therapy. I love what I do — I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you. I am a settler with Welsh and Scottish ancestry on stolen Coast Salish territory where the Hul’qumi’num and SENCOTEN speaking peoples lands meet. I am a queer, cis woman and a therapist, activist, educator, and auntie.

Please note a sliding scale is available should financial inequity or hardship be something you face. Please email to let me know.

In addition, Jennifer brings over 25 years of experience supporting adolescents and families in the school system.

She also specializes in ADHD support, through understanding that ADHD affects every part of life—not just academics—and can often be misunderstood or masked.
